Downwinders at Risk remains the one citizens group dedicated to speaking out on behalf of those who feel theirhealth and property are being harmed by cement plant pollution. Any progress made over the past eleven years to reducepollution from cement plants or to educate the public about cement kiln pollution is traceable back to Downwinders.
Over the past twelve years, Downwinders at Risk has acted as a resource for citizens’ groups nationally and internationally, including Puerto Rico, Great Britain, Mexico, Montana, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, New York and Michigan.

FwCanDo was formed by a small group of concerned citizens in response to natural gas drilling activities encroaching onFort Worth neighborhoods. FWCanDo believes that gas drilling and related activities are a threat to people, property and wildlife.

Mission
Politicians in Congress, encouraged by irresponsible corporations and lobbyists for polluters, are trying to gut the Clean Air Act and dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency.
They’re fighting for the right to pollute our air.
Lined up against them to strengthen clean air regulations are some of the most respected medical organizations in the world: the American Lung Association; the American Medical Association; the American Heart Association; the American Academy of Pediatricians; the American Nurses Association.
